Huawei Honor 6 Plus Officially Introduced

Huawei has officially introduced their latest octa-core Android 4.4 smartphone in China, the Honor 6 Plus. Powered by an octa-core (4×1.8GHz Cortex A15 or 4×1.3GHz Cortex A7) Hisilicon Kirin 925 processor, this high-end smartphone is packed with a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 in-cell LTPS display with 10-finger multi-touch, a Mali T628-MP4 GPU, a 3GB RAM, a 16GB/32GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB) and dual SIM card slots (micro + nano). Running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Emotion UI 3.0, the handset sports an 8MP front-facing camera with Sony BSI sensor and f2.4 aperture, dual 8MP rear-facing cameras with f2.0 aperture and dual LED flash, and a 3600mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it provides 4G LTE Cat6 / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS / GLONASS. Available in black, white and gold color options, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus will be available for pre-order in China from December 17th for 1,999 Yuan (about $325) for the 16GB 3G variant and 2,499 Yuan (about $400) for the 32GB 4G LTE variant with NFC.
