Huawei has unveiled a new 4G LTE-enabled Android 7.0 smartphone to its range namely the P8 Lite 2017. As a successor to last year’s P8 Lite, this mid-range smartphone has a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, an octa-core Kirin 655 (4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz) 16nm processor, a Mali T830-MP2 GPU and a 4GB RAM with 32GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB) or 3GB RAM with 16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB).
Coming with Hybrid dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD) card slots, the handset packs an 8MP front-facing camera, a 12MP rear-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, a fingerprint sensor on the back and a built-in 3000mAh battery.
Running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.0 on top, the P8 Lite 2017 provides 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC for connectivity. The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 will hit the market from the end of January for a starting price of 239 Euro (about $254) for the 3GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage version. [FoneArena]
