The Hummer H2 is really a very nice phone to use.Keys are easy to use and wide enough so that you do not press a key you don’t want to hit. The dual sim is very useful, as you can have one sim that is for family and friends to call you on and during working hours you switch to the other sim for business. It is very easy to change from one sim to another just a press of a button and phone restarts automaticcally with the other sim card. The sound from the audio player is really quite good. The screen size is very comfortable especially when viewing messages, love the black background with the text being black and the yellow highlighting the new messages takes your eyes to the section you want straight away. The camera is only 2mp but for those split second moments you might want to remember anywhere you are, the photos you can take are very acceptable especially if you ewant to send multimedia messages with apersonasl touch. Also caller Id photos look great. The phone also makes quite a handy webcam The phone also downloads all your sim info to the phone. Very light phone definately not a chunky phone, slender and smart black and yellow combination. You get a cd with phone tools to download phone book and files to computer of your phone and you can while connected to the computer send messages and photos etc. to your contacts, also download from your computer to phone. You also get uSb cable and headphone. So far I am enjoying using this phone and the charge lasts and lasts. I do not think anyone would regret owning a Hummer H2. Cheers Marie

I understand the whole dual sim idea, but can you recieve calls from either sim? eg, i have selected to use sim ‘a’ for work calls, if someone is calling me on sim ‘b’, will the phone ring?

Marie January 23, 2009 at 4:08 pm

NO. If your on Sim 1 then you can only here calls ringing through to the Sim 1 BUT if you do get a call on Sim 2 you will see a message box on top of your screen and it can be a message for either Sim 1 or 2 and so you find out soon enough if you have missed a call. Besides it is so easy to switch from Sim 1 to Sim 2 there is no reason to worry about missing calls and the phone soon informs you with messages of any missed calls. I have my personal calls seperate from my business calls. Suits me fine. The recording and the audio is really quite good. Music sounds nice and clear.I have been using this phone now for 3 months and so far it’s been quite good.

I brought mine at Dick Smiths Warehouse for AUS $287. One thing with the phones though in very bright sunlight the key pad is hard to see due to the metalic coloured key pad. The sun reflexs of the pad plus hard to see what is on the screen outdoors. Cheers.

i brought mine at china for 399RMB,about $60! it was really!

Marie September 22, 2009 at 4:30 pm

It’s the same with all technology, the longer they have been around the cheaper they get.
I have had mine for 9 months now. I had to take it in for a service 3 months ago because all the keys on the left side stopped working. Got it back working fine again and I’m still happy with my Hummer. Cheers!
