LG Launches Application Stores in Asia

LG will launch the online store for mobile phone applications in Asia-Pacific countries including Singapore, Malaysia and Australia and may spread to other parts of the globe by the end of this year. Dubbed as the “LG Application Store”, the store will provide 1,400 applications including 100 free programs in 15 languages. LG however confirmed that there are no plans for a US launch yet.
