LG Optimus 3D With Wikitude's 3D Augmented Reality Browser

That’s right! the upcoming LG Optimus 3D will be the first smartphone to support Wikitude’s brand new 3D augmented reality browser. This browser displays objects, landmarks and places in 3D and features more than 100 million locations around the world. The application also allows you to find details about surrounding areas, and provides access to related Wikipedia articles, as well as Twitter content. What’s more, the Wikitude 3D will also support 12 languages. According to LG, Wikitude 3D will be available as a free download via LG’s app store (LG World), starting mid-June 2011. [Press Release]
