Motorola DROID Turbo Officially Announced

Motorola has officially announced their latest LTE-enabled Android 4.4 smartphone, the DROID Turbo. Made specially for Verizon Wireless in the US, this high-end smartphone boasts a 5.2-inch 2560 x 1440 Super AMOLED display (565 ppi) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 (APQ8084) processor and a 600MHz Adreno 420 GPU. Powered by a 3900mAh battery, the DROID Turbo has a 3GB RAM, a 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, a 2MP front-facing camera and a 21MP rear-facing camera with dual LED flash and 4K video recording, and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. For connectivity, it provides 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC and GPS GLONASS. Verizon Wireless will start selling the Motorola DROID Turbo from October 30th for $199.99 for 32GB Metallic Black, Metallic Red or Black Ballistic Nylon versions (w/ a new two-year contract or 25 per month on Verizon Edge) or $249.99 for 64GB Black Ballistic Nylon version (w/ a new two-year contract or $27 per month on Verizon Edge).
