I bought this phone last night. It’s ok, but it is SOOOO easy to hit the browser button and use minutes you didn’t want to loose. I don’t want to get on the internet with this since I have a computer. Otherwise it’s an ok phone.

Bob Faget June 21, 2009 at 9:20 am

Just so everyone knows, the 2 quick function keys can be changed. They should be “Menu” and “Browser” by default, on my old phone I had them set to “Alarm” and something else. I’ve been using net10 for about 4 years already. This phone seems to be the best net10 phone so far, but apparently you can’t connect to a PC through Bluetooth. WTF ???

Stephanie June 24, 2009 at 7:29 pm

Another great feature about this phone is the ability to lock features, notably the browser. To do this, go to the following menus and submenus on your phone: Settings >Security >Lock Application >Browser. This phone is really the best Net10 has to offer right now.

ALSO, it says on the Net10 website that you can’t connect to your PC using a USB cable, but this is actually untrue. You can connect with a standard mini-USB. Bob, Bluetooth connection also works just fine for me.

This is really a nice phone. The camera takes sharp pictures, it can record audio, the finish on the plastic makes it so you don’t leave fingerprints as much as normal with black phones, and the games (while draining on battery) are really quite entertaining.

aaron June 26, 2009 at 8:18 pm

I was wondering how long does it take for the phone to lock once its closed. thx

wayne July 3, 2009 at 3:56 pm

can you download real ringtones not only the poly ones?

Stephanie July 4, 2009 at 4:47 pm

You can download real ringtones from the Net10 Browser for 1.0 unit of airtime for each minute of access and however long it takes to download the ringtone, plus a charge of $1.99 per downloaded ringtone. A $1.99 ringtone will charge your NET10 phone 19.90 minutes.

If you want to bypass the charges incurred to download, you can transfer music from your computer to your phone. Buy a microSD card and a card reader/writer (amazon.com has that combination for under $10… copy and paste this into the Amazon search bar: Sandisk MicroSD 2GB (SDSDQ-2048, bulk) & BlueProton USB 2.0 Card Reader Writer (Translucent).

Thank you all soo much i just bought this phone and was about to send it back because i thought it was only me having these problems.. but you all have helped me especially the one where i can lock the browser so im not using all my minutes up

Bill July 14, 2009 at 2:07 pm

I just got this phone. Not sure how to use the browser. Can it go to any site or only certain ones. I put in a site address and it says http error: forbidden. The sites I’m trying arent’ anything bad. I’m I not using it right?

Nana July 14, 2009 at 4:33 pm

where can i buy this phone in rochester New York??

Cj July 14, 2009 at 7:29 pm

This is the best phone i have ever used. I enjoy all of the features of it. But can anyone tell me how to download music from my computer? If so that would be highly appreciated.

April July 15, 2009 at 2:49 pm

first of all bill your not doing anything wrong mine does it to when i try using the browser… and cj there is a little slot in the back of the phone in the battery place where a micro memory card will fit u can use that to put on music

April July 15, 2009 at 2:50 pm

oo and nana you can by it on net10.com but i would put in ur zip code to make sure that the phone will work where you are at

Cj July 15, 2009 at 4:30 pm

Well april, I bought a mini sd at the same time i bought the phone, But it wont download any music from my media player. I even found a file the phone created when it plugged into the computer and sent music from my media player to that file and it still wont show up on my phone. It will however say on my media player when i plug it in that it has allof my music on it…

Bill July 16, 2009 at 5:37 am

I check with Net 10 about the browser – it is restricted to only the Net 10 sites. You can’t use it like a regular browser. Bummer cause I wanted to link to yahoo to get my email.

Bill July 16, 2009 at 5:37 am

Does anyone know of applications that they can get for this phone? In the games and apps section it looks like it can take java based apps.

April July 16, 2009 at 8:12 am

hmm well cj i dont know what to tell ya i havent gotten a mini sd card yet so idk

Cj July 18, 2009 at 5:07 pm

Alright thanx april.

Mr. 47 July 22, 2009 at 12:08 am

niko July 24, 2009 at 5:50 pm

Patrick July 25, 2009 at 4:37 pm

When I try to put music on my motorola em326g and it always shows up as removable disk. How do you show it to be removable device? Please someone tell me I want to put music on it so badly

Zac July 25, 2009 at 4:56 pm

first u have to have a usb cable Patrick and u can get one at kmart for $3.99 then attach it to ur pc or mac then go to LIMEWIRE and transfer the sons to u playsist and wh la ur music is on it.

Stephanie July 26, 2009 at 12:32 am

Mr. 47, unfortunately, the settings on this phone don’t allow you to remove the word “Home” or even change the default text.

Patrick, until I inserted a microSD card into mine, it showed up as a removable disk and no amount of changing properties would allow me to use it in any other way. I recommend buying a 2GB card for it. It should work correctly then.

ocia July 29, 2009 at 8:10 pm

I was wanting to know about how many pictures can you take and save on this phone, i have the motorola w375 and can only get around 15 to 20 on it, or can you take more with the memory card added, or is the memory card only for songs?

Joshua July 30, 2009 at 8:31 am

ocia – i think you can save more with memory card

also if you add pics to the mem card, will they show up on the phone? like can i use them as a background?

another question about the songs, if i put songs on the card can i use the songs as ringtones?

alex July 31, 2009 at 10:10 am

how can i download songs on my phone, everytime i try 2 it says please insert a removable disk, and theres is no switch on my micro sd card,i have no card reader ethier,i tried to format it 2 but it still doesnt work

T-o-double-dizzle August 3, 2009 at 9:24 pm

I’m about to get this phone. Does anybody know where to get free games for this?

Shane August 4, 2009 at 9:12 am

I’m ordering the Motorola em326g now but net-10 doesnt have any accessories for it where is the best place to buy accessories? Thanks

T-o-double-dizzle August 4, 2009 at 12:27 pm

Shane: is there something you need? Or do you just want to waste money?

Stephanie August 4, 2009 at 2:24 pm

Ocia, without a card and using the highest megapixel setting (1.3), my phone says it can take 43 photos. You can change the settings to make it hold more if you don’t want to purchase a memory card (change the megapixel number to a smaller one). I recommend purchasing a microSD card, however. Most people will need them in order to connect to their PC and/or add music and extra photos to their phone or vice versa. If and when you buy a card, you can indeed choose to save photos to the memory card instead of the internal memory. To do this, insert the microSD, go to Menu > Settings > Phone Status > Storage Devices > Memory Card > Format. After this is finished, your card has been formatted, which means your phone now recognizes it as a storage option. Now, to set your phone to store photos to the card, go to your camera, then Options > Switch Storage > Memory Card.

In short, yes, it can be done. ;)

Stephanie August 4, 2009 at 2:38 pm

Joshua, I must have missed your comment… Yes, to both of your questions. The pictures will be stored on the card, but you can use them as backgrounds and view them on your phone, just as you would be able to if they were stored in the internal memory. To use the songs stored on your card as ringtones, press the music key, go to your library, choose the song you’d like to use, then go to Options > Apply As > Ringtone, then select an (Empty) spot. It will automatically set this as your new ringtone.

Joshua August 4, 2009 at 8:15 pm

i set a song as my ringtone, but when someone calls me it plays the default tone how do i change this?

Shane August 5, 2009 at 9:17 am

Reply to T-o-double-dizzleI ….
Want a cheap but good bluetooth head set and I notice in a earlier message you can connect the phone to pc for adding music if thats so I would need the usb cord.. And a question for Stephanie You mention a micro sd card for downloads of music from pc with a card reader writer.. My computer has the several slots for cards my question is do I need a writer or will the pc write to the cards? Thanks

charles August 5, 2009 at 5:00 pm

does anyone know where to get games for this phone, preferably free?

Stephanie August 6, 2009 at 3:01 pm

Alex, [from a previous comment that got stuck in moderation, sorry if this one goes through twice, but better twice than not at all], did you format your card before plugging it into your computer? Also, did you switch to using your card as a storage device after this? To do so, go to Menu > Settings > Phone Status > Download Location > Memory Card. If it still doesn’t allow your computer to recognize it has a removable disk, you may have to update your drivers. You can try this by turning your phone off prior to plugging it into the PC. From there, you can follow the on-screen instructions. If, finally, your computer doesn’t recognize the storage device, you might have to cave and buy a card reader. I recommend the BlueProton microSD card reader from Amazon. It’s the least expensive but works perfectly fine (it’s the one I use for other purposes, and I’ve had no trouble with it). Good luck.

Joshua, I don’t know what the problem could be, if you set it as a ringtone already. Make sure you went here: Menu > Settings > Ring Styles > Loud Detail ( ___ detail, depends on current setting) > Ringing Tone … then choose the ringtone.

Shane, if your PC does already have a slot for microSD cards (these are really small, a little larger than a pinkie nail), it will most likely function as a removable disk, which is the same way a flash drive works… You will be able to drag and drop to the Music folder. I’ve never seen a computer that has read-only slots, but if it doesn’t have a microSD slot or it won’t write to the card for some unknown reason, a mini USB cord can be used to plug the phone to the PC after you’ve inserted and formatted the card (either way, you’ll need to insert and format the card in your phone for the Music and Photo folders to show up). These are pretty common and standard sized, so you may already have one that can be used. Camera cords or mp3 player cords might fit.

eric August 6, 2009 at 9:45 pm

does this phone, have a jack that i can use reg.head phones like for a ipod or mp3 player or do i have to use a blue tooth head set

T-o-double-dizzle August 6, 2009 at 9:46 pm

Eric: It has a 3.5mm port (normal headphones).

Cell phones commonly use 2.5mm.

Eileen August 10, 2009 at 10:52 am

I am on my second SIM card in a week. The screen says “Insert SIM” every time I turn it on. It took 40 minutes on the phone last week before she said they would send a new SIM card; it just arrived but the phone has the same problem. I think the cards are probably fine; I need a new phone. What do you think?

Mr. 47 August 11, 2009 at 6:09 pm

Today my phone was on lock mode for about 8hrs. and when I attempted to make a call all I got was CALL FAILED, and anyone trying to call me all they got was my VOICEMAIL.When I got home I called Net10 Technical Support from my home phone and they told me to turn off the phone then turn it back on, that will reset it. After doing this it worked fine. Has any body else experience this problem?

Jeff August 12, 2009 at 1:53 pm

Bought me a set of sony ear buds in the phone accessory section and the phone does not recognize them when i plug them in. Is there a preferred set I need to be buying instead?

T-o-double-dizzle August 12, 2009 at 3:47 pm

Jeff: Have you tried any other headphones? Are you trying to play music while you use the headphones? I am 99% sure that they will not work for anything other then playing music.

T-o-double-dizzle August 12, 2009 at 3:51 pm

Does anybody know if you can set animated pictures (gif) as the background?

Jeff August 12, 2009 at 9:34 pm

Dizzle. I tried using the FM radio and it states to put the buds in. Had no luck so I gave them to my son and they work on his ipod. Will have to try a different pair.

algoan August 13, 2009 at 5:00 am

Eileen, I had the same problem with my SIM card… and this may sound silly, but when I rec’d my original phone from the factory, the SIM card was installed the wrong way. I pulled it out, turned it around and slid it back in… everything worked perfectly after that. Good luck!

Eileen August 13, 2009 at 10:40 pm

Algoan – you were so right! The sim card came from the factory facing in the wrong direction. When I tried it the other way, it worked! Wish I’d thought of that sooner. Thanks for your response. :-)

Tizom August 14, 2009 at 8:08 pm

I have tried 4 different 3.5 mm male jacks plugged into my em326g and only one of them, a cheap crappy pair of sony headphones works. My Sennheiser, airline el-cheapo headphones, and a high-quality gold-plated audio cable do not work.

Maybe my unit is defective or maybe there is a design defect. I just know my unit is very fickle. Can others comment on success they’ve had using different headphones with their em326g?

Thanks!

Jeff August 15, 2009 at 9:26 am

Yeah Tizom, I am on my second pair this week with no luck.

Alexander August 15, 2009 at 8:48 pm

Thank You Stephanie I just locked the Browser Button ! Your the Best ! Thanks for the Tip. Also the person disclosed it is really not a browser anyway just a few sites Net 10 choose. Love the Phone now !

Gilda August 16, 2009 at 12:22 pm

OK, so I just purchased this phone and it’s Great, the only problem is I have a Nokia blue tooth and I was told that it is not compatible. Would anyone tell me which one is compatible that isn’t to expensive. I spent about $39.00 for about a year ago and now I am stuck. This site is very informative, I have learned a lot. Thank you.

Teddy August 17, 2009 at 12:26 pm

How do you set the bluetooth to listen music? I have the Motorola H500 and is not reconize for the music player.

dave August 17, 2009 at 7:08 pm

August 17, 2009
First of all I too had trouble figuring out that the sim card has to be turned around to work right. Now the important thing… To lock the browser
I went to settings, security, lock application, then all i see is phone lock code,
no choices for lock browser. I just got the phone so did they take the lock browser option out of the new phones to make more money?

Also is there a way to have ring tones set for different incoming call numbers?
I figured for what the phone cost you should be able to do that.
Thanks

Gilda August 18, 2009 at 3:54 am

Dave, I called about this and when you see the box to put in the code just put in 1234. You will then get a list. The guy said it should work and it did for me.
I’m am going to check into the different incoming ring tones also, that is something I would like to have on my phone too.

Arley August 18, 2009 at 3:08 pm

How do I change the (browser) Soft Keys?

dave August 18, 2009 at 3:50 pm

Thanks Gilda. I was able to lock out the browser button

blufox August 20, 2009 at 12:46 pm

Can I use any Bluetooth headset with this phone? There are some really nice ones on the Motorola site, but I don’t know much about this stuff, and I wasn’t sure if all of them would work or not.

kathy August 20, 2009 at 2:01 pm

how are picture taken with camera? downloadable to computer or not

nancy August 20, 2009 at 2:49 pm

what does it take to download pictures from the phone onto the computer? we bought a usb and when i connected to the phone and the computer it says it’s “charging” on the phone??????????? Did we get the wrong usb? It says it’s for a digital camera, doesn’t say it’s specifically for a phone.

nancy August 20, 2009 at 3:31 pm

ok…i figured out you have to have a memory card…hey, i’m a technodummy okay…but now i need to know how to get the pics out of phone memory – i sent all the pics there when i was messing with the camera function and now i want them back so i can copy them to the memory card and put them in the computer. Help!

China Mobile Phone August 20, 2009 at 8:40 pm

Bill August 21, 2009 at 5:09 am

Anybody know how to load and use java apps on this phone?

Bill August 21, 2009 at 5:16 am

Nancy to move pictures to your card memory just open the picture and then push the “Options” button, then scroll down to “Switch Storage”. Then you can choose your memory card.

Have fun!

Melissa Hopkins August 21, 2009 at 8:22 am

I was wondering how you can get the ringtones that you downloaded on the SD Card to work or something like that?

marcus August 21, 2009 at 2:02 pm

can anyone tell me how 2 download music from itunes 2 the motorola em326g

Babs August 21, 2009 at 11:29 pm

Please tell me how to play music with the built in speaker. both the fm radio and mp3s

Stephanie August 27, 2009 at 10:38 am

Melissa Hopkins–After you’ve formatted the SD card by putting the card into your phone, going to Menu > Settings > Initial Set-Up > Format Memory Card (be sure you do this first or it won’t work), put your mp3 files onto your SD card, go to Menu > My Folder > Music Library > All Songs, highlight the song you want as a ringtone, then press Options > Apply As > Ring Tone. It will automatically set it as your ringtone, though you can change it in the Ring Styles menu later on.

Babs–Mp3 songs will automatically play through the built-in speaker if you don’t have headphones plugged in. FM radio can play through the speakers, but you must have headphones plugged in anyway (they function as the antenna for the radio). To play FM radio through the speakers, open the radio application (with headphones already plugged in), then go to Options > Use Speaker.

D. Troy August 29, 2009 at 11:45 am

I just bought the Motorola EM326g from Net10 and I transferred my number and everything from my old phone to the new one and everything was fine, but now when I try and call out and when I get a call it only rings once and then goes to the busy signal and a message saying “CALL DIVERTED” pops up. I’ve been through everything in the phone and in the manual and there is nothing about this.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Bob August 29, 2009 at 2:05 pm

D. Troy, for that kind of issue you need to call Net10 phone support. You’re probably gonna have to call them several times to resolve the issue. I’ve had several issues in the past, the worst was when i transferred everything to a new phone but was unable to set-up my voicemail. I had to call them twice then the problem got fixed for me. Good Luck.

Joe September 1, 2009 at 6:34 am

Is there a way to temporarily turn off your voice mail?
Thanks for all the questions and answers.

JP September 1, 2009 at 8:37 pm

T-o-double-dizzle September 1, 2009 at 8:42 pm

JP:

Expensive cameras have some sort of solution that you rub on and it takes scratches out.

JP September 5, 2009 at 5:25 am

alex do u have a adapter forf ur micro sd card?

Sugar Rush September 6, 2009 at 12:00 am

I just bought a 8BG SD mini card for my Motorola em326g. Every time I plug in my new SD card the phone tells me to “please remove card and insert card”. I looked to see if the phone recognizes the card by varifying the storage and it is the same wether the card is in or not. I read in the comments that someone else had the same problem.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?
Is there a Motorola em326g manual out there?

T September 7, 2009 at 10:55 pm

it can only recognize memory cards with 2GB or less. hope this helps.

Jim September 10, 2009 at 1:18 am

I got the phone last week and like it.
Net10 sells a Universal Accessory kit for 14.99 but if you order it separately you have to pay 4.95 for 3 day Fed Ex shipping.
I suggest you download the Motorola manual available at the Net 10 site with the phone.
The phone only takes up to 2GB memory micro SD card. May not recognize larger. My 2GB works fine, though then there are housekeeping problems between choosing Sim memory, Phone Memory and Card Memory.
I too have had a problem with the 3.5mm phone jack. Took my first back to Walmart. Will try some old ones later.
One thing though the phone will play through it’s speaker the music.
Just go to folders choose music and then when you have the song, press the OK button (center on toggle) It loads everything up.
Note use your computer to download songs through a miniusb cable to the phone.
You can go to ringtones, and detail, and scroll down to an open slot, and then select a song from your memory card. Then press that same magic center OK button to make it your ringtone. The normal select function isn’t displayed.

I suggest if you can edit the (mp3) ringtone to make it smaller and get the select part of the song you desire. (I won’t try to explain how to do that, but if you want to you can find out how.)

There are lots of parameters to set for picture taking.
1. where it is to be store.
2. size up to 1.3 meg
3. resolution
4. and something else, I think quality.
Then you can edit the thing.
Lots of bells and whistles for pictures ans music. Oh I said mp3, but it plays many other kinds as well.

What I didnt’ see on my first try was a way to mail pictures. It may not have that and I got to go so good luck.

Gene October 14, 2009 at 10:33 am

I just purchased a 2009 Nissan Altima w/o navigation, but Nissanusa doesn’t list the EM326g as being bluetooth compatible. Before I invest in this phone, can someone tell me if they are compatible?

Jeff October 17, 2009 at 4:35 pm

Hi everyone ..once again!!

So my sms messages are full. Crazy as it sounds, I dont want to delete them all but would like to somehow move them out of phone memory to sim so I can keep them. sim is selected but the messages arent saving there but in phone memory itself. Anyone know any service command or anything of the like to allow me to keep these messages? Can i move them to storage or maybe even increase capacity from 750 sms’s?

Thanks

MATHEW October 18, 2009 at 6:54 pm

over this phone. good for about 2 months then you realize why prepaid companies make so much money; they should have a text messaging discount, its hard to text fast on this phone too.

Roxy October 24, 2009 at 6:36 pm

So I too have the Motorola EM326g and the ear piece that they sent doesn’t fit, nor do the adaptors! So I e mailed them…we’ll see what they say. Now my question is, can you empty ring tones to add ringtones? Or is there a way to get more empty slots?

Roxy October 24, 2009 at 7:12 pm

Also is there a place to get faceplates or skins for it?

Jelly7belly October 25, 2009 at 11:06 am

FM Radio Ear Buds… Had 2 at home that didn’t work. On To Walmart. Picked-up Maxwell Model #PL-1/Item #190610. Works great. Price pretty salty. $2.47. Thinking about getting a few more for spares.

I use Motorola PhoneTools on my PC to keep my schedule and phone book which I can download into my RAZ. I’m considering switching from AT&T to Net10. This phone is the only phone listed that connects to a PC. Wondering if anyone knows if I can keep my schedule and phone book on my PC and download to the EM326g. If not, are there any phones for Net10 that will accept the PC download of a phone book and calendar? Thanks for your help.

Does anyone know the clarity of the screen? Is it a bit under par compared to other cell phones, or is it nice and clear?

Marty Moose November 18, 2009 at 9:11 am

Help!
Lotsa knowledge on here, so please answer this=
I have the phone (lovin it), trying to drag songs from iTunes into the folder on my SIM card called “Melody”, cause I assume that’s where the phone would be lookin for em… doesn’t seem to work… I tried using “refresh” on the phone, but it sees no songs. Is the music format in iTunes wrong? Is there a way to do this, simply to drag my tunez into the folder on the card and away I go, or what?
Please be specific if you know how, and thanks!!! Marty Moose

casemods November 18, 2009 at 9:13 am

Marty Moose: pretty sure iTunes puts DRM (digital rights management) on it’s songs.

malissa November 24, 2009 at 6:49 pm

Does anyone know where to get skins, cover, or faceplates? If so could some one please tell me I have been searching everywhere and i can’t find it. Please and Thank you!

charlie November 30, 2009 at 7:02 am

A bit convoluted in transfer;
I got the phone specifically since it could do bluetooth and mp3s, with camera.

Adding the 2GB micro-SD, I’ve found that:
1) you can’t transfer files directly via bluetooth to the sd card. You can transfer the file in the phone memory, then move it over to the sd card.

The alternative is to remove the sd card, hook it up to a USB reader, put your files in the appropriate directories. Much faster, as well.

2) You’ll need to change ‘download directory’ for most of the features;
camera, voice recording, change them from phone memory to sd memory.
That way all future files created by the phone are stored on the sd card, but you can’t bluetooth transfer them unless you move them back onto the phone memory.

It would have been nice if they had bluetooth access to the entire phone memory, including the SD card…

Can’t do much with the USB cable link other than charging. Convenient, though, just put it in the computer to charge..

MrVegasIT December 9, 2009 at 3:09 pm

I’ve just upgraded from an LG300 to this phone. And after spending two phone sessions with the CSRs, they’re still clueless as to why my phone still doesn’t work. Everything else worked fine, from the minutes transfer to the number porting, except the screen still shows this message: UNREGISTERED SIM.
I’m sure there’s something that the CSR neglected to do, but after spending all that time on the phone with them, frankly I doubt if they have any clue.
So, anyone out there – especially Stephanie – got any idea?
Thanks.

Eileenqueen December 9, 2009 at 3:19 pm

@ MrVegasIT the same thing happened to me. The SIM card is probably in backwards. Someone else on this list clued me in to that so I hope I can return the favor by helping you.

MrVegasIT December 9, 2009 at 3:26 pm

Thanks Eileenqueen. I did note that posting and did check the position of my SIM; it’s seated correctly b/c I’m able to read the SIM #, also it’s seated in the same position as my other EM326g (there are other EM326g’s in my house!)

MrVegasIT December 12, 2009 at 4:47 pm

Good new for me: I finaly got a hold of someone at Net10 who actually listened. Turned out the previous agents input the wrong SIM # -it doesn’t take much, since there are many numbers, added to that the language barrier! – despite many confirmations. My son’s phone is now operable.
Thanks, Eileenqueen.

KayLee December 17, 2009 at 2:40 pm

There’s a menu in contact list that lets you add another phone #, tex and pics that only comes up when you list your contact in phone memory not the sim. However incoming calls only show phone# not name; yet under sim it shows name of caller. How can I have additonal contact menu and still have name of incoming call?

Erojustice December 19, 2009 at 10:53 am

Kaylee, where is the menu to add a second number under the same name? I can’t figure it out, even when I save the name to the phone instead of SIM. That downloadable user’s guide isn’t very detailed…

dudeman84 December 26, 2009 at 8:49 pm

how do you change the two quick function keys on the home page (menu and browser) to something different?

buzz December 30, 2009 at 4:29 pm

Bob December 30, 2009 at 7:07 pm

I had planned for a while to buy this phone for a long time, until the Samsung t401G came out. All the specs of the SGH-t401G seem to be superior to the Motorola EM326g, which is why I bought the newer phone, and it has a full qwerty keyboard :) I’ll update you guys on how much better it is, cya everybody.

Dman January 1, 2010 at 11:35 pm

Okay here’s the best fix options I have found for the MP3 player. The best way to get your songs to play in album listed order is simply to go into the Artist section of your menu. The songs should be listed in the correct order. If that doesn’t work your only other option is to make a manual playlist for each album and drag each song into it’s proper place. Also be advised with cheap earbuds the song quality will stink, go buy some decent Sony plugs or suffer.
Please be advised free game downloads will not install in your java apps, and the net10 game downloads are very wonky and may not work eating up 3-6 minutes of airtime in the process. Try manual loading your own graphics and ringtones and save yourself some misery! Hope this helps.

Hi to all,i transfer pictures from my sandisk to Motorola EM326g.it go smoothly,i ejects phone, but when i open to my my pix it say.file size too large, what im doing wrong

Carolyn January 2, 2010 at 10:22 pm

I just got this phone and I am trying to get the memory card to work. First it tells me it is locked every time I turn my phone on. Now it keeps up with this ‘Memory Card system failure!’ message whenever I take the card out and put it in again. I have no clue what it could be besides a faulty card perhaps? It came with the phone so that would be just super! *sarcastic face*

Vicki January 3, 2010 at 10:03 pm

I just bought the EM326g phone, and i love it, but can someone please tell me which bluetooth is compatible with this phone? Thanks for your help!!

curtis January 7, 2010 at 7:56 pm

Got em326g.This bluetooth will work: WIRELESS GEAR model.
Bought at Kmart for $7.49 on Blkfrday…Normally $19.95.
Immediate synchronization!

Luis A. January 12, 2010 at 7:39 pm

I just bought the moto326g phone and it is driving me nuts. I bought the 2GB microSD card and I formatted the memory card to the phone but once I connect it to my PC through a mini USB cable I keep getting this message telling me to insert a removable disk J. I dont know what to do to fix this and get my music on this phone.

Luis A. January 12, 2010 at 7:55 pm

Once I plug my phone to my PC through a mini USB cable i cannot see my memory card under download location menu. whats wrong with my phone, please help.

KayLee January 13, 2010 at 11:54 am

Ok, was gone awhile, but got help….first, if you put contact info under sim or phone memory with complete phone # incl area code, name of incoming caller will come up. For adding pic, text or additional phone #, put contact under phone #, hit edi9t and that menu will come up. I contact already in sim, you won’t get that additional menu, but you can move it under copy, and it will move from sim to phone memory and menu for adding phone #, text & pic sill come up. Hope this helps others.

Razmear January 17, 2010 at 12:59 am

The memory cards that Net10 is shipping for free with the phones are junk.
If you are getting the errors that the last two folks posted, it is probably a bad SD card. I ordered two of these phones after Christmas and both had bad SD cards. Using 2GB Kingston cards that I had on hand and everything works fine.
Also, one of the two USB cables we got was also bad. It would only charge the phone but not connect as a storage device. The other one works fine.
The SD cards and USB cables are cheap enough that I’d recommend spending the $10 for a new card and cable than dealing with the hassle of calling support.
Also, the link for my name goes to the Motorola support forum for this phone which has some good info too.

hth,
eb

Carolyn January 26, 2010 at 2:47 pm

Thanks. I somehow figured that it was a faulty memory card they sent. Also, the browser on my phone was not working for anything, no matter what codes we put in through tech support. They sent me a new phone and the memory card doesnt work in it either.
How did this company get rated #1 in prepaid customer service? their service is WHACK.

helena February 1, 2010 at 11:44 am

hi just bought a motorola EM326g phone the slider one and i am trying to figure out what kind of usb cable to use. please help

Marty Petersen February 1, 2010 at 11:59 am

There are a few USB based cables out there Helena, best thing would be to just bring the phone with you to Radio Shack, Wallymart, or wherever and look at the connector… I think they call that “mini-USB” but not sure. I got mine at Best Buy, it’s a pretty common connector for phones- Marty

tim February 2, 2010 at 10:15 am

there are some promotional codes to get a free cable, but you have to do it when you order the phone. do a search for net10 coupons.

tim February 2, 2010 at 10:17 am

trouble with media card. have you formating the media card see the user’s manual

tim February 2, 2010 at 10:21 am

maybe this will help. i read somewhere that when you plug your cable in it disables the media card. try formating the card without the usb cable connected.

hey veronica I saw your question and I figured out after messing around awhile that to set the alarm for am just do it like 0800 am for 8am for doing pm alarms you have to set it for military time for whatever time you want for instance set it for 16:00 or whatever time you want and it picks it up as pm instead of am then

Jamie May 25, 2010 at 2:01 am

TO EVERYONE HAVING ISSUES TRANSFERRING FILES TO THIS PHONE’S MICRO SD CARD!!!! When you connect the phone to your PC, you have to make sure the phone locks the memory card before you can transfer files to or from it. In some cases it does this automatically, so when it is plugged into a pc via usb cable, the phone will display the message, “Memory Card Locked” and you know you’re good to go. If you have plugged your phone into your PC using a USB cable, and it DOES NOT DO THIS AUTOMATICALLY, you have to go into your USB Settings, (in the same settings folder as the Bluetooth settings, I believe) and change the settings. You should have two options, “USB Modem” and “USB Disc.” I don’t have my phone with me right now, so I can’t remember which one it has to be set at (I’ll update later after I have my phone) but if you can’t transfer files and it’s set on “USB Disc”, change it to “USB Modem”, or visa versa. LIke I said before, when your phone flashes the message “MEMORY CARD LOCKED,” you have selected the right USB setting, and your phone should show up on your PC as a removable disc. You should, then, be able to access the folders and files on your phone in order to transfer to and from them. I’m not sure if anyone else posted this information, sorry if it’s a repeat, but if not…I HOPE THIS HELPS!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Jamie May 25, 2010 at 5:35 am

Josh, it has to lock the memory card in order to allow you to put files on it! You just have to go into your settings in your music folder and change it so that your phone accesses the memory card and not the phone storage. Good luck.

JordansMom May 25, 2010 at 5:20 pm

I have this phone through net10, & keep getting a lot of recorded calls. I discovered a “block #” feature & started blocking the numbers to such calls; yet I’m still getting calls from them. Is there a trick to “block #” to make it work?

Frog May 26, 2010 at 5:53 am

Using Puppy Linux. Excellent “Dial Up” modem capabilities when using old laptop. Plugged into copper phone outlet to ISP (Internet Junction – $6.95/mo) and on line. Wish to take laptop camping, cable attach to Motorola EM326g and “Dial Up” my ISP.
1. Can this be done?
2. If yes, how?
Thank you in advance for any help.

shyrell June 2, 2010 at 9:15 am

This is the most informative place I have found for this phone. Mine is opposite though. I CAN access my Yahoo mail. But I CAN NOT access the net10 downloads. Fortunately, I bought an SD card, put my music and ring tones on that. Then I can change the storage on my phone and use my own ring tones without using net10.

Does this phone (motorola EM326g) have caller ID? If so how do I find it. Thanks.

Bowlermom October 1, 2010 at 9:54 am

Can you tell me where the “speaker on/off” symbol is? Thanks and have a nice day.

JordansMom October 1, 2010 at 2:48 pm

Bowlermom:

When your phone rings it should show the number if the ID service is available (usually is w/most phones)

Speaker: during a call, on the bottom right of your screen it should say “spkr on” press the dot just underneath. Hope this helps :)

NET10 Cust Serv Sucks October 11, 2010 at 2:50 am

You can only use one code to get discount and the $8 discount, 44477. Also the code for free accessory kit is 88121. If you use it though you can’t use discount code…so you can only use one code anymore…choose. Accessory kit doesn’t have anything I’d use so I’d choose the discount. Also anyone trying to research on NET10, if you can’t figure things out on your own this will not be a good provider for you as their customer service is the worse. But for the price it may be worth it…you get what you pay for. Also as of 10-8-10 you no longer receive 300 min for new phone activations. When you activate, you will receive 60 days of service and 10 min. You will receive an additional 100 min with a purchase of one of their minutes packages up to 3 times. I hope that’s not too confusing. So activate, get 60 days and 10 minutes. Purchase 300 minutes for $30 (or 200 minutes for $20 off website) and receive 400 minutes and additional 60 days of service. Next time you purchase 300 minutes again (or whatever package you purchase) you will receive an additional 100 minutes. And finally on your third purchase you receive your last 100 minute bonus. This is how they are giving out the 300 minutes now. Would have been nice to know that before I purchased. Again, they seem to be a shady company and their customer service is the worse but for the price and as long as you can take care of everything yourself (online) it may be worth it. It just depends on your personal situation. Good luck!

John October 29, 2010 at 6:36 am

My phone is great, but just yesterday it quit playing my ring tones. It will only play the Hello Moto ring tone that came with the phone. I have tried and tried to change it, but it wont play anything else. Anybody have any idea what could be wrong? It will check mark the other tones, but still only plays Hello Moto ring tone.

nice cell phone Motorola is back paano gamitin ang cellphone na ito.
This is really a nice phone. The camera takes sharp pictures, it can record audio, the finish on the plastic makes it so you don’t leave fingerprints as much as normal with black phones, and the games (while draining on battery) are really quite entertaining.

JP November 28, 2011 at 9:16 pm

I have a problem taking pis w/this phone. There seems to be only tints. I’d like some color.
