Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Appears in Britney Spears' Video Clip

Nokia’s new 5800 XpressMusic cellphone appears in Britney Spears’ Womanizer video clip. This new touchscreen phone gets a 4-second nearly full-screen appearance as the video’s lead male character pulls up the device’s calendar. In case you forget, the handset comes jam packed with the S60 5th Edition operating system, a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with stylus input, Wi-Fi connectivity, HSDPA (North American), GPS navigation, 8GB internal memory and a microSDHC memory card slot. Its 3.2MP digital camera comes equipped with autofocus Carl Zeiss lens and LED flash. [MocoNews]

Since this is Nokia’s first attempt at a touchscren device, I won’t bash it as much. Nokia needs to get back to the old drawing board and add more functionality to the Symbian S60 interface, and if they can make their touchscreen interface more seamless (maybe if they up the processor on the device, they say it only has a 369MHz ARM Processor and a 128MB of RAM) then it would be worthy of being called a true iPhone killer.
