Folks in the US will receive the Nokia N900 starting next week. It is the first Nokia device based upon the TI OMAP3 microprocessor with ARM Cortex-A8 core. The Maemo 5-powered smartphone supports Quad-band GSM and 3G UMTS connectivity and features a 5MP camera, a portable media player, and a mobile Internet device with email and web browsing. The unlocked version of Nokia N900 is still listed for $649 from Nokia direct. [Engadget]
