The official website for OpenMoko went live today. OpenMoko is the open source Linux-based cell phone designed to liberate you mobile experience. This project has been dubbed as the “hacker’s dream phone” since the open source technology allows you add your own features into the phone. If there’s enough inner-geek in you, you can order a developer preview kit from their online store for $300 (base model) or $450 (advanced kit).

Thank You!

We enjoy hunting the web for upcoming cell phones because of you. Thank you for visiting and supporting this blog. If you like this article, please consider bookmarking it, sharing it with your friends or subscribing to our RSS feed!
