Oppo Unveils A New 4G LTE-Enabled Android 4.4 Smartphone

Oppo has recently unveiled a new 4G LTE-enabled Android 4.4 smartphone ‘R1C’ to its range. Measuring 6.85mm thick and weighing 130 grams, this mid-range smartphone is equipped with a 5.0-inch 1280 x 720 HD IPS display, a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor, an Adreno 405 GPU, a 2GB RAM, a 16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB) and dual SIM (micro + nano) card slots. Furthermore, the handset sports a 5MP front-facing camera, a 13MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording, and a 2420mAh battery. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Color OS 2.0, the R1C provides 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS for connectivity. The Oppo R1C will go on sale in China from January 20th via the official Oppo online store for 2,499 Yuan (about $403) in white with gold frame and blue with silver frame color options.
