Orange-branded Android 2.1 Smartphone Released In France

by Johan on July 23, 2010

Orange is ready to launch a new own-brand Android smartphone in France. Known as the Orange Tactile Internet, the phone is only €1 on new contracts, so seems like a very good deal for an entry-level smartphone. Measuring 107.5mm x 57mm x 13.8mm and weighing 104 grams, the Android 2.1-powered phone has a 2.8-inch QVGA (240 x 320) touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS, a 3.2MP camera, an FM radio, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 256MB internal memory, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Each purchase comes equipped with a 2GB microSD card. [Le Journal du Geek]
