The Z550a is another quad-band world phone from Sony Ericsson, which supports GPRS for accessing the internet. It is equipped with a 1.3MP digicam with 4x digital zoom. The Z550a also provides a 262k color display, a full HTML web browser, an integrated music player can handle MP3 and AAC files, and supports streaming audio/video. In addition, the Z550a features a USB 2.0 interface and Bluetooth. You can use the phone to send SMS/MMS/EMS and even Email (POP and IMAP4 are supported). The external screen is a monochrome STN. Pricing information is not yet available. The Sony Ericsson Z550a cell phone should hit the streets very soon. Sony Ericsson Z550a is a phone for business and pleasure.

Nokia today revealed the Nokia 5200 XpressMusic that offers an exciting combination of music and messaging functions. The handset is expected to retail for around €200, before taxes and subsidies. Nokia 5200 works on GSM Triband 900 / 1800 / 1900 and is using Symbian OS Series 60 operating system. Measuring 92.4mm x 48.2mm x 20.7mm, it features 2,62,000 colors, CSTN (128 x 160), microSD, and a poor 0.3 Megapixel camera. FCC has approved Samsung E690 mobile phone. The phone is in white color scheme design with a simple button layout. It offers the usual multimedia playing capability, and is also able to receive FM Radio, Bluetooth wireless technology, Java, Image editor, WAP-browser, SMS & MMS messages, Camera, and microSD card slot.
