If you want to buy a new smartphone, you can choose the latest HP iPAQ DataMessenger or VoiceMessenger smartphone. Priced at €499, the DataMessenger comes with the slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 2.8-inch LCD screen, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, quad-band GSM, aGPS, a 3.1MP camera and microSD card expansion.

The VoiceMessenger features a 2.4-inch display, a keyboard that looks like a SureType keyboard. The VoiceMessenger should be going for €399 on November 5th, 2008. Both handsets will be available via Vodafone in the Netherlands. [wmpoweruser]

Softbank Mobile offers the spanking new handset in the form of the 830SH. This 3G-capable handset features a 2.4 inch color display at 240 x 320 resolution, a 2MP camera with auto focus, a 50MB internal memory, a microSD/SDHC memory card slot, Wi-Fi capability and a built-in feliCa support. I am sure this mobile phone will be available only n Japan. [JustAMP]

The Samsung I7110 has been unveiled. The handset is a Symbian S60-based candybar that comes equipped with a 2.6-inch AMOLED display, FM radio / transmitter , GPS navigation with geotagging functionality, an accelerometer, Bluetooth 2.0, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity. The phone also features a 5MP camera with Auto Focus and a LED flash, robust multimedia player (DivX support included), 50MB of internal memory, and a microSDHC slot. Sprint offers three new handsets from Samsung and LG. The low-end Samsung Rant retails for $49.99 on contract in your choice of red or black. Sprint also releases the Samsung Highnote that is a music phone with an integrated loudspeaker. Priced at $99.99 on contract, the handset is available in red or blue. Finally, the Lotus from LG is a clamshell handset that comes equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard underneath along with a landscape display. Microsoft’s Silverlight will be available soon on the Google Android G1 and the iPhone. For your info, Microsoft’s Silverlight has been in use on the Web by companies including NBC to stream video from this summer’s Olympic games and is Adobe Flash’s main contender in the multimedia rich browser plug-ins. Microsoft has also released version 2 of the Silverlight browser plug-in earlier this week. [Slashphone]
