Palm WebOS 1.1 Launched

Palm today launched the new update for its WebOS platform. The Palm webOS 1.1 re-enables Palm media sync, so you will have seamless access to your music, photos and videos from the current version of iTunes (8.2.1). The new update also includes a few other goodies for everyone including support for emoticons in the messaging app, enhanced Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) support, the ability to set “person reminders” in the contacts app, and a new application (Sprint’s NFL Mobile Live).
