Puma and Sagem have introduced a new handset at the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona. Being marketed as an active smartphone, the Puma Phone comes jam packed with a built-in solar charger, a 2.8-inch touchscreen display with 240 x 320 resolution, a 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash and 6x zoom, a VGA camera for video calling, an FM tuner, GPS sensor for geo-tagging and Bluetooth connectivity. The phone has a built-in music player that allows for DJ-like virtual spinning and scratching. Active individuals can access the phone’s pedometer, GPS tracker and stopwatch functions. The Puma Phone will be released in Europe in April before launching in international markets. No info on pricing so far. [Electronista]

Hi,
What a great invention.
Love this.
I love this…..
If it costs more than £300 they won’t sell a single one, which is whats probably gonna happen seen as they’ve stated around EUROS 400, yes then theirs network deduction.
Hope this doesn’t end up as unsuccessful as the Porsche Design Phones from SAGEM as this, if at the right price, could sell like mad, as unlike the Porsche Design phones, this is actually good.
