Samsung Corby TV And Metro TV Released In India

Samsung today released two new cell phones in India namely the Samsung Corby TV and Samsung Metro TV. The Corby TV comes with a MimobiTV Mobile TV application (developed by Apalya) that provides access to more than 40 TV channels. This handset is similar to the CDMA Corby Speed launched earlier this year. The Corby TV also has a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, OHM support, an FM radio, Bluetooth, a 2MP camera and a MicroSD card support.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Metro TV is a candybar that comes equipped with the MimobiTV app. The handset features a 2-inch display screen, an FM radio, Bluetooth, a mobile tracker, a 2MP camera, a MicroSD card slot and support for 9 regional Indian languages. The Samsung Corby TV costs 9,699 INR ($218) and the Samsung Metro TV retails for 6,999 INR ($158). [SamsungHub]
