Samsung Galaxy S Coming To Australia Via Optus

Samsung has announced the upcoming release of their new Android smartphone ‘Galaxy S‘ in Australia. The handset will become available in Australia starting on July 1st via Optus for free with a 2-year contract agreement and a Social plan ($59 per month). To remind you, the Galaxy S sports a 4-inch 800 x 480 AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, a 5MP autofocus camera, a 16GB of storage, a microSDHC card slot, A-GPS, digital compass, WiFi, Bluetooth, 720p HD video recording (30fps) and runs on Android 2.1 OS.
