The new Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 Android Gingerbread smartphone will be available in mid or late March 2011. The 16GB version is priced at £510 ($820) without VAT, or for £612 ($984) with VAT, while the 32GB version costs £590 ($949) without VAT, and £708 ($1,139) with VAT. These prices are subject to change. As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy S II is the company’s first Android 2.3 handset that features a dual-core processor and a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display. Samsung Galaxy Tab received a few days ago a price cut and it is now sold at £599 ($935) (available for pre-orders). This represents a small difference from the previous price of £680 ($1061) that has been online on the retail companies for several weeks.
