Samsung will launch the Samsung Gem SCH-i100 in the US market very soon. This entry level phone is powered by the Google Android 2.1 Eclair and has a 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, a Swype virtual keyboard, social networking integration through the use of Samsung Hub, a microSD memory card slot, a 3.2-megapixel camera and an 800MHz processor. Unfortunately. there is no word on pricing at this time, so stay tuned. [Ubergizmo]
