Samsung has recently announced the release of Samsung i8910 Omnia HD Gold Edition. This special edition smartphone comes in two different color options: Champagne Gold and Luxury Brown, and is inlayed with 24 karat gold. Just like the original version, the Gold Edition offers a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, an 8MP camera with HD video recording, a 16GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, GPS, WiFi and supports HSDPA and HSUPA connectivities. The package also includes a leather case, a mini-cradle and a TV-out cable. The Samsung i8910 Omnia HD Gold Edition will hit Singapore, Germany, the Middle East and other selected markets starting this month for unannounced price yet. [NewsWire]
