Samsung Intercept Receives Android 2.2 Update

by Johan on December 17, 2010

Sprint has announced the availability of the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update for Samsung’s entry-level Intercept. The DL05 update also improves Sprint Navigation and fixes for inadvertent force closures and dropped calls. The Android 2.2 (Froyo) update will be released in batches by Google, so you might have to wait for some time. As a reminder, the Samsung Intercept features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot, an accelerometer sensor, social networking integration (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr), GPS, 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth.
