Sharp's New 8MP Camera Phone

The latest high-end camera phone from Sharp is now being tested by the FCC. The Sharp SH-01A is a clamshell handset that sports a 28mm wide-angle lens with 8MP CCD sensor and Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound. You can also store music and video files on the microSD memory card. [Engadget]

I am sure the Samsung i8510 8MP Camera Phone is going to pose a good competition to this one.

Finally, after so many rumors and leaks, Samsung Korea has officially announced its newest camera phone – the Innov8. Don’t bother thinking about what the “8″ in its name means. It’s a camera phone and perhaps the most powerful camera phone to date with its whooping 8 megapixel camera resolution.
