Sirius Introduces Satellite Radio For The iPhone

Sirius XM today unveiled its in-car XM SkyDock that will turn your iPhone or iPod Touch into a satellite radio. The gadget comes equipped with a built-in FM transmitter for relaying the music to your car stereo. The XM SkyDock relays that music via Sirius XM’s new PowerConnect system, which transmits the FM signal through your car’s electronics system rather than over the air to provide better audio reception. The Sirius XM SkyDock will be available this fall for $120 (plus that $13/month subscription — $8 if you already subscribe). [Geeky Gadgets]
