Sprint has finally released an update for the Samsung Epic 4G. This new update fixes the slow 3G upload speeds experienced by the cell phone. The software will be automatically downloaded to your phone since this is a recommended update. The update will be pushed out in stages from 9/30 12AM EST and will be rolled out to users over several days. It will take approximately 7-8 minutes to download and 7-8 minutes to install. Issues addressed in this firmware update include:

* Wi-Fi standby battery drain
* Amazon MP3 cannot be downloaded in 4G
* Large emails lag in upload speeds
* Increased 3G upload speeds
