Samsung has officially announced they will release the Samsung F839 in China via China Mobile network. It is actually one of the first 3G handsets for China Mobile’s high speed 1X EVDO network. Measuring 115.1mm x 55mm x 12.9mm and weighing 109grams, the Samsung F839 supports 3G CDMA2000 (China Telecom) CDMA2000 1x EVDO 800MHz connectivity and features a 3.2-inch WQVGA (240×400px) 262K color touchscreen TFT display, a 3-megapixel (2048×1536) camera with a 30fps QVGA video recording, a DivX video playback, a 100MB of user memory, a microSD memory card slot (up to 8GB), a built-in GPS, an FM radio, Bluetooth, and a USB 2.0 port. Orange UK and Apple have reached an agreement to release iPhone 3G and 3GS to Orange UK customers later this year. In case you didn’t know, Orange has the largest 3G network covering more people in the UK than any other operator. Orange haven’t confirmed on price plans or exact date. We will keep you posted. Nokia Mural For AT&T

AT&T has just introduced the Mural Flip from Nokia. It is actually a basic 3G handset that comes equipped with a 2-megapixel camera, a microSDHC memory card slot, and integrated messaging and social networking capabilities. The handset will be available at selected AT&T stores and online from September 6th onwards for $49.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a mail-in rebate. [Press Release]

China Unicom To Release iPhone 3G In October 2009

Unicom and Apple have signed an agreement regarding the release of iPhone 3G in China. The country’s second largest mobile carrier will release the iPhone 3G in 8GB and 16GB models. For your info, the smartphone is already available in China, but only on the grey market, where it is sold for prices between 3,600 and 4,000 CNY ($526 – $585). China Unicom’s iPhone 3G will be released in October 2009. The 8GB will cost 2,500 CNY ($365) with a monthly plan of at least 186 CNY ($27) and a contract agreement for 2 years. [Sina]

Samsung will released a new 3G phone in the near future. Known as the Samsung Honey Bubble, the phone features a 2MP shooter with a panorama mode and video recording capability. This 3G handset is also known as the SPH-W8700. The cell phone provides a DMB Digital TV tuner, a Bluetooth, an MP3 player, Subway Map, M-Commerce, GPS, dictionary, and SOS Siren Alarm.
