Alcatel has released the One Touch XTRA that will be available exclusively via Orange UK for £49.99 with a PAYG contract. The phone features a 2-megapixel camera with video and webcam capabilities, an MP3 player, an FM radio, EDGE Internet connectivity, a 2.4-inch touchscreen display and a microSD card expansion. Known as the Alcatel ICE3, this stylish clamshell phone boasts a 2.4-inch 240 x 320 TFT display, a 2MP camera with video recording, a full QWERTY keyboard, an 80MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), an MP3 player, an FM radio, WAP 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, a USB 2.0 port and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE network. Here’s a look at Alcatel’s upcoming Android smartphone ‘OT-980′. This entry-level phone features a QVGA resistive touchscreen display, a 600MHz processor, a 2MP camera, an accelerometer sensor, a 192MB of RAM, a microSD card slot, A-GPS, WiFi, 3G, a 3.5mm headset jack and runs on Android 1.6 OS. Alcatel has unveiled two new handsets known as the Alcatel OT-707 and OT-800. Let’s start with the first one, the OT-707 is the company’s first touchscreen handset that features a 2.3-inch TFT display with 240×320 pixels, 262K colors, 1.3MP camera, 10MB of internal memory, microSD card up to 2GB, music player, FM radio and Bluetooth connectivity. Joined by the OT-800, the company’s first handset to have a full QWERTY keyboard. It comes with a 320×240 pixels display with 262K colors, 2MP camera, Opera mini and FM radio with RDS. Alcatel boasts its entry level handset that comes equipped with a built-in accelerometer. This technology allows you to switch between applications by shaking the phone. The mobile phone also comes equipped with Music player, FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3MP digital camera, and flashlight. Its battery offers 12 hours of talk time or 30 days of standby time.
