
Samsung has unveiled their latest pico-projector phone namely the Samsung AMOLED Beam SPH-W9600. As a successor to the Samsung Haptic Beam (SPH-W7900), the new Samsung AMOLED Beam SPH-W9600 has a 3.3-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera and a 9-Lumen projector module capable of up to 50-inch images. What’s more, the W9600 can also display Microsoft Office documents and playback DivX-encoded video. The Samsung Haptic AMOLED is now available in pink and white models, which are perfect for girls. The 3G full touchscreen phone comes equipped with a high-resolution AMOLED display and supports high-quality video formats such as DivX, H.264, MPEG4, and AC-3. Other cool features including “One-finger Zoom” function, T-DMB, a 5MP camera, Bluetooth connectivity and a navigation support. No info on pricing so far. [AVING]

Samsung has announced a spanking new 3G full touchscreen cellphone known as Haptic AMOLED. The handset uses 3.5-inch AMOLED display that provides high resolution 800 x 480 pixel resolution and a 180-degree viewing angle. Available in Korea via SK Telecom, KT and LG Telecom, the phone will retail for approximately $700. Other features include DivX, H.264, MPEG4 and AC-3 support, version 2.0 of the Haptic UI, T-DMB compatibility, a 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity and a navigation support. [Oled Display]

This 8 MP camera phone is expected to be launched on the next March. The Samsung S8300 has a 2.8-inch WQVGA 16m color AMOLED touchscreen, a widget-based interface, Bluetooth 2.1, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, FM radio with RDS, 60MB internal memory, and expandable microSD. Samsung has decided to manufacture AMOLED mobile phones and will release it for the Far East market. There are four new models are being developed initially. For your info, AMOLED is clearer than the LCD. LG Philips LCD, Sony and Toshiba Matsushita Display Technology are also developing AMOLED mobile phones.
