A new smartphone from Samsung has just been launched by Bell Canada. Called the Samsung Entro, the handset boasts a 2.6-inch 240 x 320 touchscreen display, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 16MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a media player, GPS, Bluetooth and supports EVDO network. Bell Canada is reportedly planning on launching Samsung’s newest Bada-based smartphone ‘Wave S8500′ on July 8th. Based on the launch memo uncovered by Boy Genius Report, the handset will retail for $299.95 with a contract agreement. To refresh your memory, this smartphone offers a 3.3-inch 800 x 480 AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1GHz processor, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, a 2GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, 720p HD video recording, an FM radio, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and runs on Bada OS. Bell will launch the new BlackBerry Storm2 9550 on April 13th, 2010. It is actually a CDMA device that features a 3.25-inch display (480 x 360), Wi-Fi, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headset jack, a speakerphone, RIM’s SurePress technology, a virtual QWERTY keyboard, full HTML browser, GPS (BlackBerry Maps etc) and a 2GB internal/256MB Flash. Bell customers should be happy to know that Bell is ready to release the Palm Pre. The carrier has recently released a new ad for the smartphone.
