AT&T Officially Announces The BlackBerry Curve 8900

AT&T has officially confirmed about the upcoming release of the BlackBerry Curve 8900 on their network, which is likely be available starting early summer. This new handset promises to provide new features and enhanced performance, including AT&T Navigator system, free Wi-Fi at almost 20,000 AT&T hot spots, GPS, a fast generation processor, rich multimedia capabilities and ample memory for applications offered from AT&T. Verizon has announced that they will be carrying the Blackberry Curve 8330 starting this May. The Blackberry Curve is about $270 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a two-year contract. It comes with a 320 x 240 pixel display, 2-megapixel camera, media player, stereo bluetooth audio, microSD / SDHC expansion, and 260 minutes talk / 11 days standby as well as GPS.
