The HTW S116 Solar Powered Mobile Phone

The new HTW S116 Solar Mobile Phone is covered with solar cells that charges its lithium-ion battery and provides you with 20 to 25 minutes of talk time after 40 minutes of charging in direct sunlight. Measuring 47.6mm × 84mm x 0.8 mm, the handset provides a 320x 240 pixel QVGA display, a 1.3MP shooter, and an external memory card slot. The company claims that the phone will be available in the Chinese market next month.

Glofiish X800 Smartphone At CeBIT 2007

E-TEN has unveiled Glofiish X800 at CeBIT this year. It sports GSM/HSDPA/W-CDMA connectivity and powered by a Samsung 400MHz processor, 128MB ROM, a VGA camera for video calls and a 2MP camera for taking pictures. Other features include GPS, a microSD memory card slot, a VGA display, and Bluetooth connectivity. In addition, this smartphone runs on the latest Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system. The Glofiish X800 will be available in retail stores by Q2 this year. No word on pricing yet.

FCC Has Approved HTC Titan Smartphone

The FCC has approved for the HTC Apache’s successor, the HTC Titan. This smartphone will be powered by Windows Mobile 6 Professional and comes with a 2MP camera and EV-DO Rev. A connectivity along with an internal antenna. Pricing and availability details are still unknown.

The Grundig U900 Linux-powered mobile phone features UMTS 3G connectivity in addition to the 2 inch QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) 262k color display, 2MP shooter with flash, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, an integrated FM radio, GPRS, WAP, and HTML browsing. The handset sports MP3, AAC, JPEG, GIF, and BMP file formats. The U900 also comes with 100MB of internal memory that can be expanded via the microSD memory card slot.
