
Casio has rolled out the new Casio Exilim W63CA camera phone in the Japanese market. The handset comes jam packed with an 8.1MP digital camera with image stabilization, 9-point autofocus, YouTube video mode, and a wide-angle lens. Other features include a 3.1-inch 480×800 OLED screen. The camera wil be released in Japan in November 2008. [Impress]

Samsung today showed off their new Samsung INNOV8 camera phone at London’s Smartphone Show. In case you didn’t know, the camera phone offers a superb 8MP digital camera with a 2.8-inch 16 million color LCD, 8GB or 16GB of flash memory (expandable via SD card slot), an optical mouse, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity and a GPS navigation and geo-tagging service. The latest high-end camera phone from Sharp is now being tested by the FCC. The Sharp SH-01A is a clamshell handset that sports a 28mm wide-angle lens with 8MP CCD sensor and Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound. You can also store music and video files on the microSD memory card. [Engadget]

Sharp’s latest handset, the 9225H, has been unveiled at CEATEC 2008. It is actually the Softbank-destined mobile phone that comes jam packed with a 3.5-inch VGA screen, a built-in 1seg TV tuner, multimedia player, e-mail functionality, 2MP shooter and a microSDHC slot. The brand new LG KC780 camera phone features a 2.4-inch LCD screen and comes with a slider form factor. The handset boasts an 8MP shooter with a Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens, an 1600 ISO and Image Stabilizer. There are also a face detection feature that will automatically find and focus on people’s faces, and a smile detection technology that recognizes the angle of people’s mouths and adjust focus for faces. LG’s SmartLight setting will automatically adjust and fix the captured pictures. What makes this camera phone cool is that it can be used as a webcam. The phone’s camera connects to your PC or laptop via Bluetooth connectivity. LG will release this kewl camera phone in November 2008 in the European market. LG has officially released the LG Renoir this week. This “artistic handset” comes with several innovative features. It is actually the first phone in the world that features Dolby Mobile, an integrated suite of audio processing technologies that will bring Dolby quality sound to your handset.
This handset also boasts TouchShot feature that allows you to focus on an object by touching it on the phone’s screen. The shutter will fire automatically when you lift your finger off the screen. The LG KC910 Renoir Mobile Phone is able to take high quality pictures with its 8MP digital camera with Xenon flash, Schneider-Kreuznach lens, auto or manual focus, face, smile and blink detection and digital image stabilization.
