LG has recently launched another one of its candybar phone in Russia called the LG Clubby KM555E. Aimed at young people, the handset comes equipped with a 3-inch 240 x 400 TFT display, a 3MP camera, a 40MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), an FM tuner, WiFi, Bluetooth and supports business document files such as PDF, DOC, PPT, XLS and TXT. LG has introduced their latest candybar phone for the Russian market namely the LG GS200. This new handset offers a 2-inch 176 x 220 TFT screen, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), a music player, an FM tuner, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack and supports GSM/GPRS (900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivity. MetroPCS has released another entry-level phone from Samsung namely the Samsung Stunt R100. This new candybar phone features a 1.7-inch 128 x 160 CSTN display, an easy-to-use interface, Icon Carousel (with One Touch Messaging, One Touch Speakerphone and One Touch Calendar), Bluetooth and a set of MetroPCS applications including MetroWEB Internet Access, Metro 411 Directory Assistance, MetroBACKUP, mail@metro Unlimited E-mail and My Metro Account Manager. Nokia is gearing up to launch another entry-level candybar ‘Nokia 5132 XpressMusic’ for the Asian market which will be available via China Mobile. Specs-wise, this new handset will offer a 2-inch QVGA display, a 2MP camera with video recording, an advanced music player, MMS, a microSD card slot (1GB card is included in the box) and Bluetooth connectivity. Nokia has announced two new affordable handsets to its range namely the Nokia 2220 (pictured above) and 2690. The Nokia 2220 is a slider phone that sports a 128 x 160 pixels color display, a VGA photo camera, a 32MB of internal memory, an MP3 player, an FM radio, MMS, Ovi Mail support, Bluetooth and supports GSM/GPRS connectivity. The handset will be sold later this year for $66. Meanwhile, the Nokia 2690 is a candybar phone that comes with the same features as the 2220 but adds a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot. The 2690 will go on sale in the first quarter of next year for $80. More
