T-Mobile USA will soon release the upcoming Nokia 1661 handset for the US market. This simple candybar phone offers a 1.8-inch TFT display with 128 x 160 pixels, FM radio, speakerphone, built-in flashlight, Sudoku and Mobile Soccer games preinstalled and dual band GSM connectivity. Unfortunately, there’s still no word from Nokia on when exactly the handset will be available for purchase in the US, in Europe, the phone retails for only €30 ($40), so T-Mobile USA will probably offer it for free on contract. LG has unveiled its latest candybar phone in Ukraine in the form of the GB210. This affordable handset comes with a speaker that provides good-quality sound and it can play several media file types including MP3, ACC, ACC +, MPEG4 and H.263.
