
Sony Ericsson has recently released a video that shows more details about the upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. The X10 was originally known by its prototype name of Rachel or the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3. The smartphone supports a 4-inch touchscreen capacitive display with WVGA (800×480) resolution, an 8-megapixel camera with Autofocus, LED flash, image stabilizers, smile and face detection, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi b/g. The iNo CP09 is a new GSM cell phone for kids and elderly that features only a basic calculator-like screen with a large font display, large buttons, an FM radio, a torch light, a headphone jack, and a text messaging. There is also a SOS button that is useful in an emergency situation. The phone can send a text alarm to a configured number and calls that number. Tele Atlas and Samsung have announced an agreement under which Samsung will use Tele Atlas maps for its GPS-enabled devices. Samsung will be able to bundle Tele Atlas’ product with its smartphone with more than 24 million points of interest (POIs), Voice Maps, and visual enhancements such as 3D Landmarks, 2D City Maps and Digital Elevation Models.

After releasing the Galaxy Spica in Russia, Samsung will release this handset in Finland. The Samsung Galaxy Spica is actually the smaller version of the Samsung I7500. The phone features an 800MHz CPU, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, Android 1.5 OS, a 128MB RAM, a 100MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and support HSDPA connectivity. Nokia will released their first TD-SCDMA cell phone for China Mobile in December 2009. Dubbed as the Nokia 6788, the handset was inspired by traditional Chinese furniture and architecture. It comes with Chinese design elements that comprise of traditional Chinese patterns on the back of the slide and the battery cover. Google has released a new free application for Google Android-enabled smartphones, called Google Maps Navigation. The application works like any navigation system that you may have used. It features turn by turn directions which are powered by Google Maps, Google Voice recognition and Google Street View.
