LG today announced its new messaging phone which is known as the LG GW300. Weighing at 95-grams, the handset features an integrated Facebook client with a full QWERTY keypad. This low-end phone also has a 2.4-inch (240 x 320) QVGA display, stereo Bluetooth, a USB 2.0 port, and supports only on 2.5G GSM (GPRS/EDGE) networks. No word on pricing or availability at this time. The Facebook for iPhone 3.0 will be available for download (probably via the App Store) very soon. The new version of Facebook for iPhone will obviously bring many improvements and additions. Some of new features include Homescreen, News Feed, Notes, Pages, Events (with the ability to RSVP) and enhanced notifications. This application also allows you to create photo albums, upload photos, easily tag photos, zoom into photos, and add favorite profiles/pages to the homescreen. Stay tuned for more updates.
