
FCC has finally approved the Sprint Kyocera Echo. The dual-screen Android smartphone will go on sale for $199.99 with a 2-year contract on Sprint. The handset comes equipped with a couple of 3.5-inch display, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, the Google Android 2.2 OS, and access to special apps that make use of its dual-screen display. The FCC has approved the Samsung R700 dual-band CDMA device that supports EVDO 3G. From the leaked picture, it seems that the phone comes equipped with a touchscreen display, a digital camera, a headset jack, a dedicated camera key and a lock key. The Almighty FCC has finally approved the ZTE A310 (MSGM8 II) tri-band CDMA handset. The phone supports a Bluetooth connectivity, a QWERTY keyboard for easy messaging, a tri-band CDMA radio, 3G running at 1700MHz AWS spectrum, a 1.3-megapixel camera, dedicated keys for the speakerphone and camera and a headset jack. The FCC has recently passed a new Motorola handset codenamed “Greco”, which will be known on the market as the Quench XT3 and XT5. For your info, the current Quench is the international version of the CLIQ XT.
