Fujitsu Raku-Raku Basic 3 (F-08C) Mobile Phone For Elders

Fujitsu today announced the availability of its new Raku-Raku Basic 3 (F-08C) mobile phone for elders. The phone will be available in Japan on April 22nd, 2011. The handset features a special instructions button that, with a single push, connects customers to a dedicated telephone support center. The Fujitsu Raku-Raku 3 comes with a 2.8-inch WQVGA (240×400) display screen and a 5.1MP digital camera. Additional features include a notification service which alerts the user’s family members of the mobile phone’s usage status, a voice delivery service for users who have difficulty writing e-mails using the keypad and a Smart Camera software, which makes it easier for elders to shoot pictures. Fujitsu today rolled out the new DoCoMo SMART series F-03C waterproof cell phone. Available in brown, black, purple and white, the Fujitsu F-03C comes equipped with a 2-inch large-screen color LCD, a high-performance 12.2-megapixel camera that can record full high-definition movies and a touchpad that enables users to access e-mail messages, check their schedules or browse i-mode content, even when this clamshell phone is closed. Fujitsu today announced the development of wireless recharging technology that enables the design of magnetic resonance-based wireless charging systems that can simultaneously recharge various types of portable electronic devices. The magnetic resonance method allows multiple portable devices to be charged simultaneously without restriction on their position. This technology also promises more compact and efficient power transmitters and receivers. Fujitsu plans to release this new wireless charging system in 2012. [Akihabara]

Fujitsu of Japan will release the Raku-Raku Phone 7 in Japan via NTT DoCoMo. For your info, Raku-Raku means “easy to use” in Japanese. Designed for older people, this 3G/GSM handset provides a special web portal that offers carefully selected information concerning travel and gastronomic affairs. What’s more, the Raku-Raku is also waterproof and dustproof according to IPX5, IPX7 and IPX8 standards. The phone features a 3-inch TFT (480×800) internal display, a 2-inch TFT (240×320) external display, an 8.1-megapixel CMOS digital camera, a microSD memory card slot (up to 16GB) and a GPS navigation support. Fujitsu's Latest Waterproof Camera Phone

NTT DoCoMo has expanded its cell phone series by releasing the Fujitsu F-10B. Measuring 114mm x 51mm x 17.3mm and weighing 141grams, this clamshell handset provides a 3.4 inch touchscreen display with a VGA resolution allowing you to write something on pictures and send text messages faster. The phone also supports a 12-megapixel camera with face recognition, Autofocus and a 6.2X super zoom. Other features include GPS, Dolby Mobile for 5.1 channel surround output, HSDPA and GSM for international roaming. The cool factor of the Fujitsu F-10B is that it supports IPX5/7/8 waterproof standards, so you can use it up to 1.5 meters underwater. Sadly, there is no info on pricing so far. More
