Here is a 7-minutes video that shows the G2 phone which works on Android platform. It it real? The phone looks really good and Android looks even better. The phone also comes with a full touchscreen. Here’s a concept for a possible Alienware cell phone that could be produced by Dell’s Alienware division. It would feature some nice gaming options, and would run on Google’s Android platform. Dell would produce it under the Alienware banner because let’s face it, Dell Computers aren’t exactly trendy. More

Looks like Google is cooking up a Linux-based phone for launch in Q1 2008. After much talk over tech specs with manufacturers (including LG Electronics), Google is engaging with Taiwan’s High Tech Computer (HTC) Corp to design and manufacture the final phone. The Wall Street Journals reported that Google has spent hundreds of millions of dollars in this project and has courted US and European mobile operators. It’s interesting to see how this develops, considering it’s due time Google kicks Apple’s ass off the cell phone market!
