Samsung today announced a new edition of the popular F480 touchscreen phone, which is known as the Samsung TouchWiz F488i. The phone features an upgraded “3x TouchWiz User Interface”, which includes Shortcut Pages and Extended Desktop, a 240 x 400 pixels LCD display, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, document viewer and a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash. The F488i also provides Online Widgets, Social Networking Widgets (MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, Picasa, Flickr), Feature Tab Page View, and Photo Contracts. Pantech has finally unveiled a new touchscreen phone for the Korean market. Known as the IM-U460K, the handset will be sold under the name of Pantech Love Actually. Measuring 104.9mm x 54.6mm x 12mm, the Pantech Love Actually comes jam packed with a 3-inch WQVGA display, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB), a media player, a 3MP camera, a video-call camera, a 255MB of internal memory, and a MicroSDHC card support. LG has officially released the LG Renoir this week. This “artistic handset” comes with several innovative features. It is actually the first phone in the world that features Dolby Mobile, an integrated suite of audio processing technologies that will bring Dolby quality sound to your handset.
This handset also boasts TouchShot feature that allows you to focus on an object by touching it on the phone’s screen. The shutter will fire automatically when you lift your finger off the screen. Here is good news for our friends in South Korea. Pantech Sky’s latest HSDPA handset is now available in the Korean market. Pantech’s SKY IM-S730 provides a 2.6-inch wide QVGA display, HSDPA, GPS, FM tuner, microSD slot, and a 1.3MP shooter. This slider phone is available exclusively only in Korea.
