MetroPCS is reportedly preparing to launch HTC’s latest Android smartphone ‘Wildfire S’ on their network. The handset is said to be available in stores and online starting this week for $179 without contract (tax included). Verizon Wireless will launch the red version of the HTC Droid Incredible 2 on November 24th, 2011. The red version of the HTC Droid Incredible 2 features a similar specification with the black model. Orange UK has just listed HTC’s latest Android smartphone ‘Sensation XE’ on their product page as ‘coming soon’. The handset will be available for free on select plans. However, there’s no word on the exact release date yet. According to AndroidOS.in, HTC’s latest Android smartphone ‘Rhyme’ will soon make its way to India. The handset is said to retail for around 24,800 INR (about $506). HTC and Verizon Wireless have officially announced the HTC Rezound at the HTC event in New York City. Powered by the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the smartphone comes jam packed with a 4.3-inch 720p HD display, a fast 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 dual-core processor, a 1GB of RAM, a 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and a 1,620mAh battery. The HTC Rezound features an 8-megapixel rear-facing AutoFocus camera to capture special moments and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. The HTC Rezound is also known as the first smartphone in the US with Beats Audio integration. Other specs include Verizon 4G LTE and 4G hotspot capability for up to 10 devices.
