Word has it that Verizon Wireless will launch a new HTC smartphone later this month. The HTC Ozone is scheduled to release on June 29th, 2009 via online and on July 13th, 2009 on the stores. Sadly, there is no info on pricing so far. Stay tuned for more updates. [BoyGenius]
HTC Magic is known as the world’s second Android phone that should be soon available worldwide including China and the US, where T-Mobile will introduce the handset as MyTouch 3G. HTC has released the unlocked version of Touch Pro2 in the US market. This smartphone features a sliding QWERTY keyboard with a 3.2MP digicam with auto-focus, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a microSD (HC) card slot, an FM radio with RDS and a 528Mhz Qualcomm CPU. You can also get the speakerphone system called “HTC Straight Talk” for conference calls. [CoolSmartphone]
A new ROM upgrade for HTC Touch Diamond2 is now available from HTC support site. The new version 1.40.707.1 ROM features an upgraded Radio, with a new radio version 3.44.25.27. Here are some leaked pictures of HTC’s upcoming Hero smartphone. According to Code Android, the Hero, aka G3, will be released probably in Q3 this year. As seen from the pictures, this new Android smartphone comes without a trackball, but in addition it features a 3.5mm headset jack. Sadly, no other information is given at the moment.
