
Huawei has unveiled its plans to release the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Huawei Ideos X5 (U8800). The update will be available by the end of November 2011. Huawei has just announced the availability of their new dual SIM Android smartphone ‘Deuce U8520′ in Australia. The handset sells for $249 unlocked. Specs-wise, the Deuce U8520 packs a 3.2-inch 480 x 320 capacitive touchscreen display, a 600MHz processor, a 2GB of storage, dual SIM card slots, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a 3.2MP FF camera with LED flash, an FM radio, 3G, A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 1500mAh battery and runs on Android 2.2 OS. Cricket will launch the Huawei Glory, which is also known as the Huawei Honor. The handset has been approved by the FCC. This Android 2.3-powered smartphone supports CDMA 800/1700/1900 and features a 4-inch (854×480) display with a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8655T processor, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera to capture precious moments, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, a 2GB of storage capacity and a 1900mAh battery. Do you still remember the Huawei Honor that we posted earlier this month? Huawei has officially confirmed the availability of this Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread smartphone in Asia-Pacific, China, Russia and the Middle East. Measuring at just 10.9mm thick and weighing 140 grams, the Huawei Honor features a 1.4GHz processor, a large 4-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) capacitive touchscreen display, an 8-megapixel HDR-enabled camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 1,900mAh battery. What’s more, this smartphone is also DLNA-certified, allowing you to easily share your photos, music and videos across different DLNA-certified devices. A new Android smartphone from Huawei is about to be launched by Phones4U UK. Called the Huawei Blaze, the handset will be available from September 30th for 99.95 GBP (about $153) on PAYG. Specs-wise, the Blaze will sport a 3.2-inch 480 x 320 capacitive curved touchscreen display, an 800MHz processor, a 256MB RAM, a 512MB ROM, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a front-facing camera, a 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera, an FM radio, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The FCC has recently unveiled the Huawei U8520 dual-SIM phone. Powered by the Google Android 2.2 OS, the handset features a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 CPU, a 2.8-inch HVGA display, a 2GB ROM, a 512MB RAM, a 3MP digital camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, an FM radio, a GPS navigation and a 1500mAh battery.
