
The HTC Legend and Huawei U7510 are now available in India. In case you didn’t know, the Legend is actually an improved HTC Hero that comes with Android 2.1 OS. The handset has an aluminum case, an HVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, an optical trackpad, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 5MP camera with flash. Meanwhile, the Huawei U7510 features a QVGA touchscreen display, BrewMP (like the HTC Smart), Bluetooth, a stereo FM radio, an MP3 player, a 2MP camera, a 100MB of internal memory, and a MicroSD card support. T-Mobile will launch the Pulse Mini budget-minded smartphone in the European market sometime in the near future. FYI, the T-Mobile Pulse Mini features a 2.8-inch QVGA, a Qualcomm MSM 7225 processor, and a 3.2-megapixel camera with a built-in LED flash. Additional features include a microSD card slot (up to a 16GB microSD card) and a 3.5mm headphone jack. T-Mobile has recently released another touchscreen phone from Huawei namely the Tap. The phone is sold for $79.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after rebates. So here are the specs, a large touch-sensitive display, a 2-megapixel camera with video capture, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), a music player, an FM radio, GPS, 3G support, Bluetooth and supports both UMTS/HSDPA (2100Mhz) as well as quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivities. The Android-powered Huawei U8220 will be released via T-Mobile Europe as T-Mobile Pulse. However, there is no info on pricing or availability at this time. The Pulse U8220 has just appeared on pre-order at a Dutch retailer’s website for €257 or equal to $366 (free of contract). Sadly, the phone is locked on T-Mobile’s network. Huawei has come out with another mid-end touchscreen phone known as the U7510. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm BREW 3.1 processor and features a QVGA touchscreen display, a photo camera, Bluetooth with A2DP and supports both GSM as well as HSDPA connectivity. Huawei is ready to launch two new touchscreen phones for the Chinese market. Known as the C7300 and T550+, the former is a CDMA2000 phone meanwhile the latter supports both GSM and TD-SCDMA connectivity. Measuring 109.4mm x 57.6mm x 14.2mm and weighing at 110grams, the C7300 features a 2.5 inch QVGA touchscreen display with 65k colors, a GPS, a handwriting recognition, a 2MP camera, an MP3 player and a MicroSD card support.
