The Yamaha PDX-30 is a docking station for iPhone and iPod. It comes with a fabric front speaker grille that hides both its audio drivers and a yellow power light that illuminates automatically when an iPhone or iPod is docked. The gadget produces 30-Watts of output power shared by four speakers. Yamaha promises “rich bass reproduction” and low distortion thanks to an internally developed amplifier. Each purchase comes with an Infrared remote control with menu navigation buttons, volume buttons, play/pause and track controls. The Yamaha PDX-30 retails for $200 a pop. More
