Word has it that the next generation of iPhone will be launched in June 2010. According to Telecoms Korea, Apple will likely name its new smartphone “iPhone 4G”. It is said that KT (South Korea’s second largest mobile carrier) has already signed a deal with Apple for releasing the iPhone 4G sometime in June this year. The new iPhone 4G will feature “two camera modules for video-call services”, an improved battery lifetime, and a mobile TV service (for Korea only). Vodafone Will Launch iPhone In The UK Next Month

Vodafone will launch the Apple iPhone in the UK on January 14, 2010. The phone will be available from £30 a month (on a 24 month contract). For your info, iPhone customers can use up to 1GB of mobile data as part of their price plans as well as take advantage of unlimited access to Wi-Fi in the home and free publicly available services throughout the country. In addition, customers will also be able to use up to 1GB data on one of the UK’s largest Wi-Fi networks, BT Openzone, providing high-speed internet access at premium locations across the UK. Tesco Mobile iPhone Pricing Unveiled

Tesco Mobile will release iPhone on December 14th, 2009 in the UK. Tesco will offer a £20 ($32) per month contract with unlimited internet and WiFi hotspot use and the equivalent of £60 ($97) to be spent on calls and messages each month. The iPhone will be priced from free on a new 24-month contract, although subscribers to the £20 tariff will be expected to pay upfront for their iPhone 3G or 3GS. Tesco Mobile will also offer a pay-as-you-go (prepay) contract, with an 8GB iPhone 3G at £342 ($555), a 16GB iPhone 3GS at £440 ($715) or a 32GB iPhone 3GS at £538 ($874), again with 12 months free data/WiFi access. Google Earth Version 2.0 For iPhone

The new Google Earth version 2.0 for iPhone and iPod Touch is now available. This latest app provides several new features such as the ability to view custom maps (created by you or by others) via the My Maps interface. In addition, it also provides improved performance and enhanced icon selection. When you touch an icon, a small glow appears under your finger to let you know which icon you have picked. Orange UK and Apple have reached an agreement to release iPhone 3G and 3GS to Orange UK customers later this year.
