The Sthreeam from Kickstarter is a small dongle that fits into the 30 pin connector on the bottom of your iPhone. The device comes with an extra camera, which enables the smartphone to capture 3D photos and videos. It is compatible with both iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. Apple is ready to launch the new iPhone 4 in 17 more countries on July 30th, 2010. Beginning this Friday, customers can purchase the iPhone 4 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. The handset will be available for purchase through Apple’s retail and online stores and Apple Authorized Resellers. FYI, the iPhone 4 is currently available in France, Germany, Japan, the UK and the US for a suggested retail price of $199 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB model. [BoyGenius]
Gear4, which is an audio company from the United Kingdom has just announced a new lineup audio devices and docks that are meant to enhance your use of your iPod and iPhone. The biggest will the Explorer-SP, which is a lightweight iPod/iPhone speaker with a sleek design and rich sound. It will give you 10 hours of play after charging for just 2 hours. Also included in the lineup will be the StreetParty Size 0, which is a backpack friendly speaker dock, the StreetParty 4, a dock that can be folded flat for storage. Linksinternational will release a new stylus for iPhone,which is dubbed as the Ozaki iFinger M. This new accessory comes in black and white, but the black model will be released first and the white one will come later. The Ozaki iFinger M was developed by Ozaki, a Taiwan-based PC peripheral device maker. It comes with a strap that can be connected to an earphone jack. The tip of the pen is coated with a special rubber that does not scratch an LCD screen but enables smooth operation. The body of the pen is made of an aluminum alloy. The street price is expected to be about 1,980 Yen or around $22.36 a pop. [TechOn]
Renderings of the upcoming iPhone 4G in five different colors have been posted by Seraphan on iSpazio forums. As a reminder, the new iPhone 4G will feature a camera on the front side and a 80GB of storage capacity. The handset will use a micro-SIM and a battery that is 16 percent larger than the current model. [9To5Mac]
Here is the iPhone OS 4.0 demo video that shows the iPhone OS 4 features such as multitasking functionality, displaying Home screen wallpaper, and a new Folders option, which allows you to arrange your applications in folders.
