According to rumors, the new iPhone 2009, or also called iPhone 3.1 will be using BCM4329 chipset from Broadcom. The BCM4329 is a chipset with integrated IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) and FM radio receiver and transmitter. Using this chipset, the new iPhone will be able to stream music wirelessly with its FM transmitter and support wireless Draft-N network. [Slashphone]
Here is the latest iPhone rumor. The iPhone 3G may come with a 3.2MP and 5MP cameras. OmniVision Technologies will be making the 3.2MP CMOS cameras Apple plans to put in its new iPhone. Apple also landed orders for a 5 Megapixel camera that will be used in “another product expected to be launched later in the year”. However, there is no confirmation from Apple. According to rumors, Apple has planned to release the iPhone 2009 with 32GB of storage space. The rumor also mentioned two version of iPhone 2009, with the low end version going to Brazil, Russia, India, and China, and another high end version for to North America and Europe.
