
The Sony Ericsson UI is now available via KDDI network, which is actually the first BRAVIA handset from this network carrier. The handset adopts Sony Bravia Technology and Sony Blu-ray forwarding technology allowing you to enjoy Blu-ray movie on your phone by syncing it to a Blu-ray player. The Sony Ericsson U1 also has a 3-inch WVGA LCD display, a microSDHC card slot (up to 16GB), waterproof (IPX5/IPX7), a 5MP digital camera with Auto focus, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 1Seg TV. KDDI of Japan introduced two new business handsets from Sharp in the form of the E05SH and E06SH. Both mobile phones are shocks, falls, dust and water-resistant. These phones features fingerprint authentication, remote locking/unlocking of phone, GPS navigation, office document viewing, bar code scanner (E06SH only), a 2.6 inch 240 x 400 resolution display and a 2MP camera. There is also a SDIO port, which can be connected to the memory card and the expansion card to connect to WLAN and PHS networks. No word on pricing of these rugged handsets so far. [JustAMP]

KDDI has recently released the limiited edition of W63S cell phone that comes with a special 007 Quantum of Solace design from AU. Priced at €110 with a contract, the mobile phone features an internal 2.7 inch organic EL WQVGA display with an external 1.1 inch organic EL display, 100MB internal memory, 1Seg support, EZ FeliCa, and a 3MP shooter. Unfortunately, this special edition phone is only available in Japan. [Akihabara]

That’s right! KDDI will offer the HTC Touch Pro for their users, So the Japanese mobile users can enjoy this CDMA mobile phone. In case you didn’t know, KDDI is Japan’s second largest mobile operator. KDDI also announced that they will be introduced this smartphone at CEATEC 2008, a Japan’s largest electronics products exhibition. [SlashPhone]

Japanese’s famous mobile carrier KDDI has recently introduced the Ply mobile phone concept. The handset has the multi-layered plywood where each layer has its own functionality including a photo printer, a mini digital projector, and a game controller. Pantech Japan has just released the new Spring collection from KDDI shops. One of many Pantech models geared towards women, comes in three colors: white, pink, and black as well as a 2.4 inches screen, 2 megapixels Digital Camera, MicroSD port, etc. Price and other specs are still unknown.
