
LG has just announced the availability of its GD510 Pop in the UK via Carphone Warehouse. This touchscreen handset is sold for £99.95 (about $166) on pay as you go basis. As a reminder, the GD510 Pop offers a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, a 3MP camera, an accelerometer sensor, a music/video player, an FM radio, a Web browser, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth and supports quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity. LG today introduced the LG SB210 touchscreen phone that comes with several unusual features. The handset provides maps for 280 golf courses and other golf-related services, including a so-called “Receive PJT” application. The new LG SB210 also features a G-sensor, compass and a calories calculator. Other specs including a 3-inches touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixels, GPS, a 3MP shooter, a 242MB of internal memory, a MicroSD card support, and a 1,000 mAh battery. Measuring 111mm x 55mm x 12.3mm and weighing 106 grams, the LG SB210 will be released later this month in South Korea via SKT for 638,000 Won ($539). [Press Release]

Cricket today announced another clamshell phone from LG namely the LG HELiX. This compact and stylish handset features a 2.0-inch TFT internal color display, an external display, a 1.3-megapixel camera, Voice Clarity, Bluetooth, a speakerphone, speaker-independent voice commands and supports for AWS CDMA connectivity. The almighty FCC has recently approved the LG KF700 that will support AT&T bands, but it doesn’t mean that this handset will officially become an AT&T phone. For your info, the LG KF700 features a sliding phone keypad, a WQVGA (240×400 pixels) display screen, and a standard numeric keypad. No info on pricing or availability so far. [UnWiredView]

LG Electronics will release the LG GD510 a.k.a. LG Pop in 15 European countries including the U.K. Measuring 97.8mm x 49.5mm x 11.2mm, the LG Pop features “Active Flash” UI with a 3MP digital camera, an MP3 player, an FM radio, a Bluetooth connectivity, and an external memory slot (up to 8GB).
