You are lucky if you are living in Japan. NTT Docomo will launch the F-12C Globetrotter Classic Special Edition smartphone on October 28th, 2011. Available only 5,000 units, the Android-powered F-12C from Fujitsu features a 3.7-inch (800×480) display, an 8.1-megapixel CMOS camera, mobile wallet service, several pre-installed wallpapers and a Vulcan Fibre rear cover that is made out of the same material as the Trotter Classic travel case. Samsung has teamed up with FC Bayern Munchen to release a limited edition of its first Bada-based smartphone, the Wave S8500. Dubbed as the Samsung Wave Bayern Munchen Edition, the phone comes equipped with a pre-installed Bayern Munich app, free access to T-Mobile’s “LIGA total!” mobile TV service for three months and a €65 ($85) voucher that can be used for buying gifts from the Official FC Bayern Munchen Online Shop. Oakley has collaborated with Nokia to create 200 units of the Nokia N97 Winter Olympics 2010 edition. Nokia has worked together with fashion house RAOUL to launch a very limited (1000 units) edition of its N97 mini. T-Mobile is ready to release a series of new handsets for the holiday season. One of these phones is the myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition, which will run on the Google Android OS. T-Mobile hopes that this cell phone will appeal to myTouch fans and music fans. As the handset runs on Google Android, you have access to more than 10,000 applications.
